What to notice as you scrub the year

    Location

    Sun angles are computed for the coordinates in the top bar. Paste them from Google Maps, or tap the pin to use your device.

    How to get your coordinates from Google Maps
    • Desktop: right-click your exact spot on the map. The very first row of the menu is the latitude, longitude (e.g. 19.0621, 72.8834) — click it to copy, then paste into the lat, lon box up top.
    • Phone / tablet: press and hold on your spot until a red pin drops. The coordinates appear in the search bar at the top (or the info card at the bottom) — tap them to copy, then paste.
    • Aim for the centre of your plot, and zoom in first so the pin lands accurately.
